Pride Week is a festival in Vancouver’s West End that celebrates the city’s LGBTTQ+ community and includes a world-famous Pride Parade in early August.
the Vancouver Pride Festival occurs on the first week of August and the Vancouver Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, August 6. Pride week is celebrated not only by Vancouver’s LGBTQ+ community, but by the entire city and visitors from around the world. Highlights of the event include the Pride Run and Walk starting at 9 am on the Sunday, the Davie Street Party on the evening on the Friday, and the Pride Festival at Sunset Beach and Vancouver Pride Parade both on the Sunday, with the parade starting at noon and the festival going all day.

Sunset Beach Park is located at 1204 Beach Avenue and that’s where both the Pride Run & Walk and Pride Festival at Sunset Beach take place. Davie Street is in the heart of the West End and Vancouver’s most gay-friendly neighbourhood, where the Davie Street Party takes place between Jervis Street and Burrard Street.
